a look inside the life of Whitney

About Me

499af943b146bc5be84315393c16adffHi there! Glad you stopped by 🙂

People normally talk about where they live and what they do when they first talk about themselves. Well I don’t want to do that, it’s boring.

So I’m Whitney. I can be loud and wacky or quiet and pensive, depending on who I’m around and how I feel. I’m a big kid–easily entertained and excited. I still enjoy watching disney movies, making s’mores, blowing bubbles and building forts in my living room.

I would definitely classify myself as creative. An artist? In someways, yes. I can draw a bit. And craft things. I fairly handy with a set of tools too.  But I would basically describe it as having a talent for seeing things differently, and having a knack for problem solving. And I apply these talents full time as an interior designer, part-time as a graphic designer, and every time in between on a myriad of opportunities.

I own a Mini Cooper, and I’m a huge nerd about it. I’ve named him Charlie, bought custom tail-lights, joined a local Mini Cooper club to hang with other owners, and even did a little photoshoot with my car, courtesy of my parents and husband. Yes, I love my little car. Its been a source of stress sometimes, but also inspiration and I have many stories to share about him. It was the final spring board that started whit/pen.

And I guess that’s really all you need to know about me. My husband and I are currently working on building an online business together while still working full time jobs.  We want to help local businesses be more visible online and better reach those who are searching for their service.  Eventually it will allow us to help anyone from anywhere and give us the ability to travel and work anywhere that God needs us to.

So stop by our Facebook page to learn more about our business and get to know us.

Thanks for dropping in 🙂

  1. Yup! Sounds like we have some things in common! I’ve actually combined my love for my MINI with my love for Graphic Design and am growing a small business with it. I’ve made some greeting cards with a MINI theme and its a lot of fun! Click on the flier from my blog post today if you’re interested! Thanks for commenting!

  2. I recognized the Mini in your photo before I read your blog. You must be a girl after my own heart, a mini lover and an arsenal lover. I’m both too and own a 2009 Mini Cooper Convertible

  3. Thanks for liking “The Crabby Old Lady” today, Whitney. Come back another time. And good look with your blog, your upcoming marriage, and Charlie! 🙂

  4. What an ambitious mission! I appreciate you stopping by to check out my art. I’m glad to be connecting with so many people in related fields. Your design work is fun and very clean (I like clean). Your infatuation with your Mini-Cooper, Charlie is also a fun little tidbit.

    Please keep in touch!

  5. Whitney, thanks for visiting my blog. I don’t like to speak about myself but I fully agree with you about “live another way of life”, I am interested and somewhat involved in Interior decorating and absolutely share your passion about Mini! 🙂 Good luck!

  6. Love your playful, Godly heart!!!! Someday I will be able to say “I knew her when I had her artwork & ccomments on my refrigerator”

Tell me what you think :)
